TickrPay is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal information necessary to provide our service:

  • Profile Information: When you create a profile, we store your chosen handle, income amount, income type, and work hours. This information is stored to generate your public profile page.
  • Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics to understand how users interact with our service. This includes anonymous usage data such as page views and interactions.
  • Local Storage: Your browser may store your profile handle locally to provide quick access to your profile. This data never leaves your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Display your public earnings ticker on your profile page
  • Generate comparison pages between different profiles
  • Create shareable images and social media content
  • Improve our service through analytics
  • Prevent abuse through rate limiting

3. Public Information

Important: All profile information you provide (handle, income data) is PUBLIC and visible to anyone who visits your profile page or comparison pages. Do not create a profile if you want your income information to remain private.

4. Data Storage

Your profile data is stored securely using Upstash Redis. We implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access, but please remember that your profile information is intentionally public.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Vercel: Hosting and analytics
  • Upstash: Database storage

These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of your information.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Update your profile information at any time
  • Request deletion of your profile (contact us via GitHub issues)
  • Know what information we have stored about you

7. Children's Privacy

TickrPay is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
